Why do I need an Organiser who understands Seniors?
- A Professional Organiser working with Seniors knows that it may be a slow process, as you are usually dealing with a lifetime of possessions and memories, along with physical limitations.
- Your organiser will need extra patience, be prepared to take more breaks, work in shorter sessions. probably drink a lot of tea and listen to many stories.
- The Professional Organiser has to build trust and work firmly but gently to get the job done.
What is the process?
- Simply call or email Judith to set up an appointment to meet and discuss your requirements and aims. Once Judith has met with you, she will discuss various options that would suit your needs. This is followed by a quote and finally dates are set.
- Judith arrives on the appointed day armed with all the tools needed. She works with you, or family members to clear, sort, clean and organise everything we discussed. You will always be asked for your input. All rubbish, recycling and donations are removed and you will be left with a solution that works for you and your family.
Do I have to be there?
Each assignment is different. Sometimes it is necessary for the client to be on hand, and in other instances it is only necessary to be available at the start and again at the end of each session. It always goes faster if someone is there to make decisions as needed.
What is the cost?
Costs vary. All fees and optional costs are discussed with the client before starting an assignment. Payment methods are also discussed and agreed upon.
How much time will it take?
Again, the total time varies from project to project. Judith would give you an idea of total time once we have assessed the project. Some people like to tackle the whole project in one go, over a few days, while others prefer to spread it out over a few weeks. The choice is yours.
